Do more men or women tend to specialize in multiple scientific fields?

Currently, more men tend to specialize in 2 or more scientific research areas than women.

Current data indicates that there were 2,281 women and 4,463 men specializing in at 2 least scientific fields in Slovenia in 2008.

Women were 34% of all science workers specialized in at least 2 fields, vs. their male counterparts 66%, a proportion roughly 1:2 female to male.
