This event is organised by the INCLUSO project, aiming to gather international specialists in the field of social software use and improvement of social inclusion for disadvantaged youngsters. Delegates from decision making groups such as governments and the European Commission will be among the participants. A call for papers has been launched (Deadline 22 March). The collaborative INCLUSO project (funded under FP7) aims to deliver a verifiable proof that ICT, and more precisely social software tools, can facilitate social inclusion of youth at risk.

User involvement and user centred design are the underlying general topics of ICCHP, with the aim to generate an interdisciplinary discussion of all stakeholders. A call for papers is open until February 1st 2010.

Under this theme the following objectives will be covered: services, aggregating or digitising content for Europeana, open access to scientific content and use of cultural heritage material for education.

eLearning Africa is a conference that focuses on information and communication technologies (ICTs) for development, education and training in Africa. Serving as a pan-African platform, eLearning Africa links a network of decision makers from governments and administrations with universities, schools, governmental and private training providers, industry and important partners in development cooperation. On behalf of Multinational Women in Technology (MDWIT) I am writing to ask you to serve as a volunteer for the 2010 women and technology conference, "Global Diversity: Enriching Technology," which will be held Thursday April 29, 2010 from 8:30am to 4:00 pm at the Columbia Sheraton Hotel in Columbia, Maryland. The conference is expected to draw a diversity of women technology professionals from state and federal agencies, educational institutions, nonprofits and the business community. This will be my third year in supporting this growing conference, and I am more excited than ever by the plans we have for you! We will have a "girl shadow program," a poster session spotlighting regional developments in energy and technology, and a lot more networking opportunities with key regional and national leaders. We have been listening to you! But to make it all work, we need volunteers to work in the following areas: Workshop moderators, Onsite registration, Workshop assistants (assist with audience Q&A, microphone, evaluation forms,etc.)
