Women In Science Issues
WS Issues - EU Project - CEC-WYS
Central European Centre for Women and Youth in Science (CEC-WYS) aims to promote and improve the visibility of Central European women in science and to support and mobilize young scientists in the region.
The project was supported by the European Commission under FP6 under the priority of Structuring the European Research Area. CEC-WYS has created an easily navigable database which contains details on women scientists from the Central European region. Additionally, several training events were organized including seminar on Responsible Conduct of Science, workshop on Potential Evaluators of EU projects, workshop on Women in ICT.
