Are women under-represented in science occupations?

Yes, women remain under-represented in science occupations.

Current data indicates that there were 6,971 women and 12,347 men working in science occupation in Slovenia in 2008. Women were 36% of all science workers and men 64%, a proportion roughly 1:1.8 female to male.
